I heard a rumor that royalties are not paid to authors when books are purchased from Amazon. Is this true? My writing prof insisted that it was. ??

BTW v. familiar with LaPorte; grew up near it and the Wendy's in town was a special place. Always drove thru it on the way to the beach, too.
